  • All new registrations create a personal username which is used for future access to the member's area of our website.
    We collect personal information from you, including your name, contact information, membership purchase and renewals, names and birth year of home educated students (optional), and ways you might be able to volunteer to help us provide our services. Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter information requested during the registration process, we may be unable to provide some services and may decline membership. We collect this information in order to provide you with the benefits of membership in our network. We do not ever sell this information to other organisations. We may occasionally share basic details (for example, if you register for an event), and in this case will not be without your confirmed consent. Your information is accessible only by our committee members, for the purpose of carrying out their administrative roles for us, or occasionally a contracted service provider in order to maintain our website and/or electronic databases and fulfill the benefits of our membership. Any committee member or contractor requiring access to our member database completes a non-disclosure agreement. You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you would like to correct your personal details, please login to our website and update your profile.

    THEN is run entirely by home educating parents/caregivers who volunteer their time and skills to keep our network thriving. We are actively seeking to keep the various network needs in small chunks of responsibility. Would you please let us know what skills you, your spouse/partner, or reliable teenager have to share.
    Committee members are elected annually. Please check if you are serving, or willing to serve, in one of these areas when a vacancy arises.
